Established by Vicki Luckhurst 30 years ago, Directors has become one of the most trusted and credible hair and beauty salons in Kent.

Vicki first started her career in 1980 after launching her first beauty business. Her vision and passion evolved into hair design, after acquiring The Hair Do, Penenden Heath in 1990.  After a move to Bearsted the business reinvented itself and Directors was born, a credible title to encapsulate the knowledge, experience and passion of its creator and team. 

Directors has 8 team members all waiting to advise, guide and create your ultimate hair and beauty experience. Our pricing structure reflects their experience, qualifications and talent. Our stylists regularly train in London and are always up to date with new techniques and styles. 

We provide a full range of salon services catering for both men and women, including blow-drying, cutting, hair-up and all aspects of colouring. We also offer nail services to complete the hair and beauty experience.

    I am the Salon owner here at Directors. I have 38 years experience in both Hair and Beauty Therapy. I am as passionate today as when I first came into this industry and when Directors was first established. Here at Directors we aim to provide a professional and comfortable environment, offering the very best service that we can possibly provide. We are so lucky to have an amazing group of stylists that are both conscientious and loyal.

    CREATIVE DIRECTOR

    My name is Ashley, and I’ve been the salon manager and creative consultant at Directors for the last 8 years, and I absolutely love it. I’m a corrective colour and hair extensions specialist with over 17 years of experience in the industry. I love anything complex or intricate that I can really sink my teeth into. I’ve recently been a member of the Revlon Visionaries team, having my work featured in HJ, Pro Hair magazine and Estatica. I'm a qualified educator and host my own courses for colour and hair extensions, too. I love looking after my guests and making them feel nothing less than amazing.     STYLIST / MAKEUP ARTIST

    My name is Liberty, I am a stylist/ makeup artist. I have been with directors for 4 and a half years. I offer a range of services from extensions to balayage and other colour and cutting techniques.

    I also have over 5 years experience in the makeup industry, working across bridal and event makeup.

    APPRENTICE

    My name is Lucy and I have been an apprentice at Directors since November 2023. I am currently studying Level 2 Diploma for hair professionals. I am excited to continue my journey at Directors to gain more experience and knowledge in the hairdressing industry!

    REFLEXOLOGIST

    My name is Becky and I am a Creative Designer and certified Reflexologist.

    I have been in the industry for 20 years and enjoy all aspects of hairdressing. I mostly love providing styling services for weddings and special occasions but also enjoy being in the salon with my lovely guests and amazing team!

    I have been practising Reflexology since 2022 and provide this amazing holistic therapy within the salon. My guests love to add this into their hair service and can spend a good few hours relaxing and leave feeling on top of the world!
